Sleeve Buttons (c. late 18th and early 19th century)

A typical men’s linen shirt would include: metal sleeve buttons, roomy material, simple patterns, or solid colors, and finally a simple neck collar. Metal Buttons can also be seen on men’s trousers, during the fur trade, men usually wore a particular style of pants called Breeches. This style of pants could be found in the eighteenth and early nineteenth century, the materials used to make these trousers were: skins, cotton, wool, and/or leather.
