Buttons (c. late 18th and early 19th century)
A typical men’s linen shirt would include: sleeve buttons, roomy material, simple patterns or solid colors, and a simple neck collar. Buttons can also be seen on men’s trousers. During the fur trade, men usually wore a style of pants called Breeches. This style of pants could be found in the eighteenth and early nineteenth century. The materials used to make these trousers were: skins, cotton, wool, and/or leather. Each option includes 6 buttons.
